2006 年 10 月底，微软官方推出了 The Windows Blog，包括 Windows Vista Team Blog 及 Windows Experience Blog，现在又新增了一个 Windows 7 Team Blog。目前，官方性质的英文 Windows 7 博客已经达到 3 个了：The Windows 7 Blog for Developers, Windows 7 Team Blog 和 Engineering Windows 7（看样子，E7 的中文版已经停止翻译了，也就不介绍了）。
新的站点也经过了重新设计，主体仍为蓝色（就比如：Dev.live.com 新站点，微软 .NET 平台新标志的设计都是偏蓝色风格的）。
新的博客也采用了 Telligent 最新的 Community Server 版本，具备了一些社会化服务功能，比如：Shared Feeds（个人资料页面上的模块，可以共享自己喜欢的 RSS Feed），My Activity（列出了用户最近的留言，新日志，上传文件等活动）等。这使得 The Windows Blog 更能成为一个优秀的、充满活力的爱好者社区，并且这是官方性质的社区，还有一些 Windows Featured Community Program 成员以及 MVP 在评论中发表自己的看法（发表看法总比粘帖活动公告更有意义的）。
当然，The Windows Blog 地址也换成了：www.windowsteamblog.com；但不一样的是，原地址是转向新地址的，大家不必担心。明天的 PDC 还有更多关于 Windows 7 及其他相关的信息，敬请期待。
