尽管官方并未正式宣布，但 ScottisAFool 注意到新版 Windows Live Tools for Visual Studio 已经在 Microsoft Downloads 上推出了。

该 CTP 版是针对 2008 年 7 月 CTP 版更新的。在新版中，Windows Live Tools 已经兼容 Windows Azure 以及 Silverlight 2 了。包括以下内容：ASP.NET Server Controls
• Contacts
• IDLoginStatus
• IDLoginView
• Map
• MessengerChat
• SilverlightStreamingMediaPlayer
Visual Studio Project 模板
• ASP.NET Windows Live 网站（Web Site) 
• Windows Live Web 应用（Application ）
• Windows Live Web Role (Windows Azure Cloud Project 模板)
