WindowsAndMe 是一个新的 Windows 技巧分享社区站点，用户可以交流自己使用 Windows 的心得体验，建议。另外，他们还有一批 “Windows Gurus” 来帮助大家解决问题。

但是，有不少人怀疑该站点是否为官方站点。Ed Bott 发表了一篇关于此站点的分析，但还是没有结果。我也询问了 Mary Jo，可能马上就会得到官方的回复。

所以，为了保证个人信息的安全，请注意。

根据 Gizmodo 上的一篇日志提到，Google Maps 街景摄像车开进了微软 campus，并且在 整个办公园区内边开边拍照。甚至这部 “Googcar”还开到离 Windows Live Maps 团队所在大楼 Building 116 相当近的地方。

the Google guys were driving around the team that does Windows Live Maps, like nothing was wrong, when other Microsoft guys were laughing and yelling at them. Much nerd hilarity ensued.

尽管有一些信息隐私的考量，Google Maps 仍然在不断推广它的街景视图的服务。Windows Live Maps 虽然也曾经测试了一个类似街景视图的服务，Windows Live Local，虽然该站点仍然可以访问，但已经不再有什么更新了。

很感谢这个拍照取证的人， 。不知道当这部 “Googcar” 上的 Google Guys 看到微软办公园区内的 MS Guys 尤其是 Live Maps 楼内走出的人的时候，会不会停车，下车 say Hi ?

之前我们介绍过一个 Windows Mobile 6 站点，今天微软推出了新版的 Windows Mobile 站点。尽管这不是什么大新闻，但这个站点的更新属于微软最近 FTP168 计划的一部分，该计划旨在推广微软的面向消费者的产品。Bill Gates 也在上星期的福布斯采访中提到，FTP 计划就是“Free The People”的意思（总计划 2 亿美元，首批预算 1 亿 6 千 8 百万，因此也称 FTP168）。

不难发现，新版 Windows Mobile 站点在推广基于微软 Windows Mobile 设备上花了很大的功夫，用户可以比较各款最新的设备，筛选特定功能的设备。同样还有一个全新的交互体验，展示了新的 Windows Mobile 6.1 界面，以及 Windows Live 和 Office Mobile 是如何增强用户体验的。

另外，Windows Mobile Owners Circle 也被重新命名为 Windows Mobile Total Access 了，仍以推广 Windows Mobile 第三方应用程序为主，还包括铃声，技巧。我们觉得只有微软推出 Windows Mobile 7（2009 年初推出），以及 Windows Live Wave3（2008 年末推出），不然很难鼓励开发者继续进行 Windows Mobile 和 Windows Live 方面的开发，目前大量的开发者都转向了 iPhone 平台。

Messenger for Mac 7 是一款整合了与同事或者好友沟通功能的客户端。Mac 版 Messenger 7 能够同时运行于 Power PC 或者 Intel 的苹果电脑上。在今年 4 月底推出了其 Messenger for Mac 7.0 版本，现在，微软推出了 Microsoft Messenger for Mac 7.0.1，主要改进了对 Mac OS X 的 VoiceOver 功能的支持，以及修复了一些欧洲国家语言版本的用户界面上的问题。

注意：Messenger for Mac 7.0.1 不支持 Live Communications Server 2005。

传微软已经同意收购语义搜索引擎 Powerset，价格估计略超过1亿美元，公告则可能在下个月发布。Powerset 的搜索引擎技术能够试图理解用户输入的语句的含义，并以此理解为基础返回搜索结果。

微软希望通过收购 Powerset 来减小与 Google 之间的差距，Steve Ballmer 仍坚持搜索将会是微软重要的计划。最近，微软 Live Search 的市场份额正在逐步下滑，相比 Google 和 Yahoo! 搜索的市场份额，差距是越来越大。

根据来源介绍，Google 对语义搜索引擎开发研究力度并不是很大，相信这也是微软想要收购 Powerset 的原因之一。正如之前推出的 Live Search CashBack 服务，微软在一些有潜力或者说是对手并未完全涉及的领域加强了投入，但愿这次的收购能让微软在搜索引擎领域上有些起色。

新版本的 FolderShare 客户端已经推出了( 现在只有 Windows 版更新了，Mac 版客户端也很快会有，但现在还未更新)。根据 FolderShare 团队的官方博客的消息：

There’s a new version of FolderShare for Windows available today that includes several updates designed to improve reliability. We encourage all the awesome FolderShare users to install it at their earliest convenience.

These feature improvements work only on the new version, so the old version needs to be removed before the new one is installed. We understand this process may cause some inconvenience, but be assured that your settings and files will remain the same from start to finish.

尽管我不是一位 FolderShare 的用户，但我还是尝试了新版本的安装，版本号为 14.0.1383.0530。

安装在一台计算机上是非常快的，大概需要2分钟不到的时间就能完成安装。一位在官方日志上留言的用户抱怨必须卸载之后，在多台计算机上重新安装，而且官方的更新列表中没有具体的说明，只是提到稳定性改进。但这个也很正常，目前还在非常长期的 Beta 测试阶段。回顾一下历史：FolderShare 是 ByteTaxi 的产品，微软于 2005 年末买下 FolderShare，并于 2006 年 3 月正式将其归入 Windows Live 旗下。

尽管我们还不是很清楚微软为什么需要 FolderShare，SkyDrive 和 Live Mesh 分割为独立的服务，但我们相信微软会在 Wave3 中理清其中的关系。FolderShare 看起来还未被微软放弃，也很有可能在某天脱离 Beta 阶段。

我们之前介绍过 七月即将关闭的 Windows Live VOIP 服务以及 微软计划当中极有可能将取消手机号码机制的 Echoes 平台。今天，微软宣布收购 MobiComp 公司的计划。

Todd Peters，微软 Mobile Communications Business 部门 VP，提到对于 MobiComp 公司的收购，将会让 Windows Mobile 和 Windows Live 都从中受益，在今后的合作中更好地整合。

People expect their phones to deliver the best experiences from PCs and the Web right to their pockets. Investing in the right solutions from companies like MobiComp will extend the capabilities of Windows Mobile and Windows Live to help us provide the most innovative and seamless way to stay connected.

关于 MobiComp 公司：

MobiComp 公司创立于2000年，葡萄牙。曾经开发了备份和恢复手机数据的技术，以及通过手机发布内容至类似 FaceBook 的社交网站。而此次微软收购 MobiComp 公司的计划，能够充分结合 MobiComp 公司在移动数据方面的专业技能以及微软的具体计划，通过移动数据保护和共享的服务，构建一个整合所有的移动设备、网络以及计算机的网络。

6月7日 Silverlight 2 Beta 2 推出，而两周后，Emil Protalinski 发现了 Silverlight Streaming 以及 PhotoZoom 服务都有了相应的更新，已支持 Silverlight 2 Beta 2。

我们之前提到过 PhotoZoom 服务，即一个让用户可以将 Silverlight DeepZoom 技术应用到自己的照片的网页用户界面。四月份的时候，也推出了 PhotoZoom 的 FaceBook 应用。

另外，PhotoZoom 站点也有用到 Live Clipboard 服务。如下图左所示，橘红色的剪刀状图标就是其中之一。

也许我们可能会看到更多的关于 Live Clipboard 的应用，也许在 Windows Live Calendar 中？
