Windows Live 短信提醒功能将于 5 月 31 日终止

根据 Robin van Veghel 收到的 Windows Live 官方通知邮件，短信提醒功能将于 5 月 31 日关闭。邮件的主要内容如下：

亲爱的 Windows Live 用户，

我们联系你是因为我们将对 Microsoft Hotmail、Microsoft SkyDrive 和 Windows Live Messenger 的提醒功能做出改动。

你可能正在使用我们的提醒功能 – 在有新邮件、Messenger 提醒和 SkyDrive 评论时通过短信告知的服务。但该提醒服务将于 5 月 31 日正式停止。这意味着你将不再收到这些提醒短信。

……

Windows Live 在 09 年正式推出了短信提醒功能，如今的终止也是大势所趋。还有，这次改动并不影响 Hotmail、Messenger 和 SkyDrive 智能手机平台上的应用通知。（via LiveSide）

Windows Live Alerts 网站（alerts.live.com）今天宣布，Windows Live Alerts 服务将关闭：

感谢您对 Windows Live Alerts 的关注。经过考虑之后，我们已经决定将终止该作为 Windows Live 一部分的 Alerts 服务。请直接从 Alerts 合作伙伴处订阅报纸或内容。但 Hotmail 日历提醒将暂时性地继续由 Windows Live Alerts 管理。

根据微软发言人的信息，Alerts 提醒服务的关闭将在 9 月 30 日执行。Alerts 服务最早是 MSN 旗下的提醒服务，于 2006 年 8 月转移至 Windows Live 品牌下。该服务允许用户订阅各种内容或者 RSS，一旦有更新便会通过 Messenger、邮件或短信通知用户。

但或许是由于 Twitter 等的出现，使得老一代的提醒服务失去了即时性这一优势。从 Windows Live 现有的服务来看，微软 Windows Live 产品线将只剩下 Messenger、Hotmail 和 SkyDrive 三条。

Windows Live Alerts 服务更新至 Wave3

微软已更新了 Windows Live Alerts 提醒服务，除了界面已更新至 Wave3 在线服务统一的主题之外，功能方面并无增加。若之前的猜测正确的话，Windows Live Alerts 已经成为 Windows Azure 平台的一部分了。

奇怪的是，Windows Live Alerts 首页原有的 Alerts 创建链接已经被移除，而该 Alerts 创建链接可以直接访问，界面仍为 Windows Live Wave1 的界面。

此次 Windows Live Alerts 更新也并未推出已测试若干年的 Windows Live Messenger 自定义图片及广告提醒（如上图）。

欢迎体验订阅 LiveSino 的 Windows Live Alerts 更新提醒。一旦 LiveSino 有更新，Windows Live Alerts 会通过 Windows Live Messenger（在线才会提醒）或 Windows Live Hotmail 提醒。

Windows Live Alerts 将会成为 Windows Azure 的一部分？

Windows Live Alerts 是微软 Windows Live 旗下的一款信息提醒服务，可以发送信息至用户的邮箱、移动设备，或者 Live Messenger 中，不仅已经整合至 Windows Live Spaces，还可以将 RSS 添加至 Windows Live Alerts 以提供站点内容更新提醒服务（具体效果可自己体验 LiveSino 右侧的 RSS 订阅中的 Windows Live Alerts）。但 Windows Live Alerts 服务官方 Space 自去年 7 月就没任何内容更新了，这不不得使我联想到，Windows Live Alerts 服务已经被放弃了。

有趣的是，Jamie 在一段 Channel9 对 Steve Marx 的采访视频中发现了一些很有价值的信息：

We tie in with Windows Live Alerts ….a really cool service… it provides a platform for generating alerts [from Windows Azure]… Your app can generate an alert from Windows Azure that can be delivered as an email or even a text on your phone.

如果我们的理解没有错误的话：Windows Live Alerts 已经成为 Windows Azure 的一部分了，这也能很完美的解释了为什么长久以来我们都没有听到关于 Windows Live Alerts 的消息。

Windows Live Alerts 和很多基础服务一样，比如 Windows Live ID，并不受大家太多的关注，但确实在整个 Windows Live 发挥着重要的最用。而我很关心 Alerts 服务将给用户带来怎样的体验，想象一下如下的应用场景：用户 Windows Live 的 What’s New 好友更新信息将直接发送至 Windows Live FrameIt 呈现。但最主要的还是看微软怎么看待这个如此具有潜力的服务了。

该服务可以让我们通过 Windows Live Messenger、Windows Messenger 或者 Email 来接受我们订阅的信息。在 Alerts 的定制过程中，可以方便的进行提醒发送的时间和方式。

Windows Live Calendar beta 体验

Windows Live Calendar beta 正式推出了，第一时间我体验了一下 Windows Live Calendar（通过 calendar.live.com 访问）。整体风格采用了 Windows Live Wave2 风格:

在新建项中，有3个选项，活动、社交活动（Windows Live Events）和日历：

导入日历界面，支持 ICS 文件导入，导入时也可以选择是否导入原有的日历，还是新建日历：

共享日历是 Windows Live Calendar 主要更新的内容之一，也支持 RSS 订阅日历了（前提是共享此日历）：

日历设置界面，可以链接到设置共享页面：

日历主界面，添加活动非常方便，可以用鼠标拖曳选中区域添加活动：

添加成功之后，右下角会出现提示（可以在选项中关闭该功能）：

在查看别人的共享日历的时候，可以点击“添加至我的日历”按钮完成导入：

另外，Windows Live Calendar 的提醒是由 Windows Live Alerts 完成的，具体的可以在选项和活动编辑页面中设置。
