• 界面布局变化很大，工具栏更窄了，并且能隐藏。

PhotoShare 应用

• 尽管以前已经有 PhotoShare 的功能了，但是在 Windows Live Messenger 9 中将更完善。该应用可以与联系人共享照片（也可用作屏幕截图共享 ），或许微软在将来会整合 Windows Live Photos，PhotoZoom 等出色的服务。

总结，尽管目前来说，改进并不是很多，但这仅仅是 M1 版本。Groups 和 Favorite Contacts 整合，以及 PhotoShare 应用都暗示了微软将实现用户反馈最多的一些建议，现在已经在 M2 阶段了。很期待 Windows Live Messenger 9 的正式公开测试。

从截图可以看出，WebMesesenger 使用了最新的 Windows Live Wave 2 界面，添加了个人状态信息整合、标签式对话（可以竖向堆叠）、显示图片选项。

不幸的是，Windows Live Web Mesesenger 开发组不如 Windows Live Calendar 开发组工作进展迅速，所以不要希望很快能够进入 Beta，至少目前的计划如此。

Microsoft 需要发布一款出色的 Calendar 来应对 Google Calendar 的快速市场占有率的增长。 随着“软件+服务”这个概念已经成为了如今的一个新名词，但愿我们不需要花两年来等待 Calendar 的桌面程序。

和 Windows Live Hotmail 一样，Windows Live Calendar 将会重写代码。尽管此时没有任何新的信息出现，但对与一些功能，如 .ical 的支持和日历共享已经可以确定了。

我估计我们已经可以开始建议 Windows Live Calendar Beta 的功能了。
