Windows Live IM Control 更新：支持自定义显示名

刚刚就 Windows Live IM Control 更新的事情询问了 Angus Logan，并且，他在博客中详细介绍了这次更新。

在这次 Windows Live IM Control 更新中，他们增加了一个功能：自定义显示名。仅仅是增加了一个 inviterDisplayName 参数，接下来我就介绍一下，如何使用：

启用 Windows Live IM Control。
创建代码，并复制嵌入框架，或者链接代码
iframe 框架代码：
添加参数 &inviterDisplayName=LiveSino%20Visitor ( 空格必须使用 %20 代替)
&inviterDisplayName=LiveSino%20Visitor” width=”300″ height=”300″ style=”border: solid 1px black; width: 300px; height: 300px;” frameborder=”0″>
当访客进行对话的时候，访客的显示名的默认值就为 LiveSino Visitor 了：

IM Control 及 Messenger Library 支持两种新语言

最近，微软为 Windows Live IM Control 和 Messenger Library 增加了对两种新的语言的支持：希伯来语 Hebrew 和阿拉伯语 Arabic，也就是说现在 IM Control 和 Messenger Library 已经支持自右至左的语言了。开发难度也因此较大，不仅要处理文字顺序，而且要改变视觉元素来满足该语种人群的习惯。

以下就是上面提到的两个新语言的 IM Control 链接：

希伯来语 Hebrew: http://settings.messenger.live.com/Conversation/IMMe.aspx?invitee=smarterchild@hotmail.com&mkt=he-he
阿拉伯语 Arabic: http://settings.messenger.live.com/Conversation/IMMe.aspx?invitee=smarterchild@hotmail.com&mkt=ar-sa

注意，你的操作系统必须支持这些语言才能正常显示。在 IM Control Parameter Reference 页面中有完整的支持语言列表。

Windows Live Spaces 更新：支持 IM Control 和 SkyDrive代码

今天 Spaces 官方团队推出了 Spaces 少量的更新，最主要的就是支持了 Messenger IM Control 和 SkyDrive 的嵌入 html 代码。

另外还包括一些基础改进，使得 Spaces 服务更快更稳定。

Angus Logan 在他的博客上发布了一篇关于荷兰微软 ALM 团队如何使用 Windows Live IM Control 的文章。这个团队有建立了一个专门的页面，里面包括一些 ALM 团队的专家，点击他们名字前面的 Messenger 状态图标即可与专家对话。

Windows Live IM Control Beta2 更新

在 Windows Live IM Control 发布一个月之后，微软推出了 Beta 2 版本，据 Angus Logan 介绍：新版本中增加了自定义颜色和样式的选项。

Windows Live Messenger IM Control & Presence API 发布

Windows Live IM Control 是一款允许用户嵌入至其博客、网站或社会化网络页面中，访客即可通过该嵌入窗口与站长交流。

Windows Live IM Control 支持 IE6 ,IE7 和 Firefox 2.0 ，并且还支持 32种语言。

访问 http://settings.messenger.live.com/applications/websettings.aspx 即可开始使用 Windows Live IM Control 。具体的设置过程，我会在接下来的文章中发表，大家可以先在留言中发表一下遇到的问题，我可以有针对性的为大家解决一些常见的问题。

LiveSino 的范例：

在 Windows Live Spaces 中嵌入 IM Control 及 SkyDrive 框架

Windows Live Spaces 是支持 Windows Live IM Control 和 Windows Live SkyDrive iframe 框架嵌入的。我先介绍一下如何在 Windows Live Spaces 日志中插入 Windows Live SkyDrive 共享文件：

登录 Windows Live SkyDrive 后，进入你所要共享文件或文件夹，点击嵌入按钮：
看到如下界面后，选择需要嵌入的样式：
将下面的代码复制，切换至 HTML 编辑模式，再粘帖至需要位置即可：

Windows Live IM Control 也可以通过同样的方法插入（点击这里获得嵌入代码），但是我推荐大家还是通过模块插入 Windows Live IM Control：

点击 Windows Live IM Control Gadget，添加至 Windows Live Spaces 或 Windows Live Events，保存即可。

Windows Live Spaces 直接内置 SkyDrive 的模块，叫作 Files，点击显示 Show 即可添加：

Windows Live Spaces 目前仍不支持嵌入其他网站的 iframe 页面。
