需要注意的是，本届 Mix 09 上推出了 Microsoft Web Platform Installer 2.0 Beta，去年，微软 Web Platform Installer 1.0 Beta 推出。

而 Mix09 上，微软还正式推出了 Web App Gallery，这是面向 Microsoft Web Platform 的应用，比如：Wordpress、ScrewTurn Wiki。除了 ASP.NET 的应用之外，Web App Gallery 也包括 PHP 的应用。

Web App Gallery 支持通过 Microsoft Web Platform Installer 安装应用，并会在安装之前，提示用户需要安装的服务器组件。除此之外，Web App Gallery 还支持开发者提交应用，更多信息（比如：如何打包）可以在此获得。

另外，微软还在 Mix09 上推出了一款跨浏览器测试工具 Expression Web SuperPreview，而我计划今晚详细介绍。

这里我们就来看看 Vista SP2 将给我们带来的更新内容：

系统支持硬件方面

• 支持最新蓝牙协议 2.1 的蓝牙设备
• 兼容数据刻录至蓝光碟片
• 增加 Windows Connect Now(WCN) 以带来更便捷的无线网络设置体验
  增加 exFAT 文件系统对 UTC 时间标记的支持（修正了不同时区间文件同步的问题）
• 支持新型接触性智能卡（ICCD/CCID）
• 支持威盛新的 64 位 CPU

系统安全方面

• 基于 Windows Vista 系统的整体安全性，包含之前所有的安全更新/补丁
• 升级安全开发生命周期 (SDL) 流程，基于对每次安全公告的分析，改进了内部相关工具以消除编码可能造成的安全隐患
• 增强系统稳定性
• 修正相应代码以改善自从 SP1 发布以来收集到的由微软代码引起的系统崩溃

系统性能方面

• 改进无效无线连接情况下的睡眠唤醒的性能
• 包含 Windows Search 4 以增强搜索引性能、扩展搜索相关性、增加索引对象以及整合新的相关组策略
• 改进边栏 RSS Feeds 工具以提高更新性能和应用兼容性
• 尽量确保目前基于公共 APIs 基础上开发的应用程序与 SP2 的兼容性
• 包含部分程序兼容更新补丁
• Spysweeper 和 ZoneAlarm 兼容支持 POP3 邮件帐户

管理和支持方面

• 安装了 SP2 并同时安装了 .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 的用户就会缩短下载及程序安装时间
• Service Pack Clean up tool (Compcln.exe)：通过该工具可以永久删除/清除现在被 SP2 所替代的之前所有版本的安装文件(RTM 和 SP1)
• 单一 SP2 安装文件：适用于 Vista 和 Server 2008
• SP2 安装前的预检测功能：可提醒用户有任何不兼容的驱动程序或者警告用户可能出现的不兼容的程序/功能
• 更好的错误处理功能，尽可能地提供更详细的错误描述
• 更易于管理的系统事件日志
• SP2 安装包的安装程序/更新/功能的可选组件化

而根据 Kevin Tofel 在 jkOnTheRun 上曾给出了一个非常详细的 SP2 更新列表（原文内容已经被要求删除），我们可以看到 Vista SP2 的更新内容除了包括上述一些我们已经知道的更新外，还包括：

• 整合 Hyper-V 管理程序
• 增加 SPC 事件记录功能
• 修复 WMP 升级带来的 DRM 问题
• 增加 无线网络的 Windows Vista Feature Pack
• 降低 边栏运行占用的资源
• 改善 Windows Server 2008 的电源管理

微软在 10 月底时首次推出了 Vista 和 Server 2008 Beta 版本的 SP2 并开始了相应的内测阶段，并公布了正式推出时间： 2009 年上半年。我们也介绍过微软欲在 Windows 7 面世前发布 Vista SP2，而 Tech ARP 上个星期报道称微软将在 2009 年 4 月推出 Vista SP2。这貌似也正与 Mary 听到的 Windows 7 最新 RTM 计划： 2009 年 6/7 月相吻合。微软给出的又一个承诺，我们也只能“希望”不再有跳票的情况发生 。

另外，微软发布了一个 Vista 和 Server 2008 SP2 的 Hotfix 列表，根据相关说明该列表并未列出全部更新。而 Tofel 之前发布的详细列表也确实有一些不在该 Hotfix 列表上的内容，这大概也是 Tofel 博客内容被要求删除的原因吧 。

This week, it plans to turn that strategy upside down, making available free software that connects its Windows operating system to software services delivered on the Internet, a practice increasingly referred to as “cloud” computing. The initiative is part of an effort to connect Windows more seamlessly to a growing array of Internet services.
