Office Live Small Business

早在 09 年，我们就已听说 Office Live 将逐步被替代，并且今年的时候 Office Live 旗下的 Workspace 已经被转型为了 Windows Live SkyDrive + Office Web Apps。如今，提供了免费网站托管、设计和管理、邮箱服务的 Office Live Small Business 服务最终将在 2011 年 10 月以后被 Office 365 替代，现有的 Office Live Small Business 客户将会获得 Office 365 三个月的免费使用期。

Office 365 也提供了类似 Office Live Small Business 的网站设计工具

Live@edu

Live@edu 是微软面向教育机构推出的服务套件，包括 Outlook Web App（又名 Outlook Live），Windows Live SkyDrive、Office Web Apps 等，如今该套件也将转移至 Office 365 旗下。根据 Live@edu 的 FAQ 页面，面向教育机构的 Office 365 将包含所有企业级 Office 365 的所有功能，另附专为教育机构设计的工具，价格将在日后宣布。

很显然，面向教育机构的 Office 365 很可能将采用基于 SharePoint Online 的 Office Web Apps，而不是原先 Windows Live 的。

对于小型企业来说，原先免费的 Office Live Small Business 整合入 Office 365 后将进行收费（小型企业更需要免费的优秀服务？），微软建议那些不愿意付费的小型企业考虑 Windows Live Hotmail 和 Office Web Apps 等服务。虽说微软 Office 365 套件推出的初衷是应对 Google Apps、服务清理的计划也合情合理，但微软对于小型企业的策略显然是有利于 Google Apps 的。

事实上，微软在 Office Web Apps 技术预览版发布之时就已确认，Office Live Workspace 服务将被 Office Web Apps 替代，而这次可以视为微软对该计划部署的预告。鉴于 Office Web Apps 将在 6 月 15 日正式发布，升级工作应该也会在此之后进行，具体日期微软并未透露。

官方在 FAQ 中指出，Office Live Workspace 的升级会将用户所有的工作区、文档和权限设置都将自动迁移至 SkyDrive。而 Office Live Small Business 网站则不受影响。

在必应 Bing 发布之时，微软官方的 Q&A 文档中提到了此次将发生的变更：

问: Live.com 将会如何？

答: Live.com 地址将会在必应 Bing 发布后 45 天内转向 Bing.com。此后，它将成为所有 Live 服务包括 Office Live 和 Windows Live 的门户。

45 天早已过去（必应 Bing 是在 6 月发布的），但直到现在 Live.com 才出现了该提示信息。尽管微软并未透露更多 Live.com 的信息，但我们猜测有以下可能性：

• Windows Live Home （当前地址为 http://home.live.com）
• Windows Live 个性化体验 （当前地址为 http://my.live.com）
• Windows Live 市场推广站点 （当前地址为 http://www.windowslive.com/Explore）
• 一款全新的整合 Windows Live 和 Office Live 的站点

简单回顾下历史：Live.com 最早是微软在 05 年 11 月 1 日发布的个性化主页服务，当时 Live.com 与概念服务 Start.com 共存。而在 07 年 5 月中旬，Start.com 服务正式结束，并合并入 Live.com。后又在 08 年 5 月中旬，微软 Live.com 个性化化主页服务迁移至了 my.live.com 域名，自此 Live.com 就成了 Live Search 的域名，以及后来 Bing.com 的入口地址之一。

另外，微软手头的 Start.com 域名似乎仍被“闲置”着。

微软 Office Web Apps 包括在线版 Word、Powerpoint、Excel 和 OneNote（截图），最终将分为免费版（带广告）以及订阅版（无广告），预计将于 7 月中旬作为 Office 2010 CTP 版的一部分进行更大范围的测试。

根据该调查，微软将 Office Web Apps 定位于 Microsoft Office 软件的补充，而不是替代。同时 Office Web Apps 也是 Google Apps 的竞争对手。

调查中也提到部分值得注意的 Office Web Apps 与 Microsoft Office 软件之间的整合。Office Web Apps 将提供 Web 浏览器（Internet Explorer、Safari 和 Firefox 等）、桌面（Outlook）以及移动设备（Windows Phones、黑莓、iPhone）之间的 E-mail、日历、联系人同步功能。

我曾在 Office PowerPoint 2010 中的新特性中提到了 Microsoft PowerPoint Live 服务，而 PowerPoint Live 很可能就是 Office Web Applications 中的一员。

虽然整个调查并未给出具体测试开放日期，但根据 Microsoft Security Essentials（当时仍叫 Morro）调查来看，得需要 6 周。另外，Office Web Apps 公开测试的日期临近，或许也就是微软两数据中心 7 月上线的原因之一。

新的数据中心分别是爱尔兰都柏林数据中心和芝加哥数据中心，而都柏林数据中心也是微软第一个在美国以外建成上线的数据中心，对于欧洲有着不可低估的意义。

OffiSync 支持 Office 2007 以及 Office 2010 的 Ribbon UI（也支持 Office 2003），下图为 OffiSync Beta 在 Office Word 2010 泄漏版中的截图：

而 Ribbon UI 中的 OffiSync 打开、保存、另存为、搜索、协作、Email、复制 URL、打开 URL 按钮都是对 Google Docs 进行操作的：

• OffiSync 会根据运行的 Office 组件进行文档的筛选，比如：Word 只能打开“在线文档”、PowerPoint 只能打开“演示文稿”、而 Excel 只能打开“电子表格”和“表单”文件
• OffiSync 打开或保存对话框界面中，支持对文件夹（新建、删除、刷新）和已保存文档（删除）进行操作
• OffiSync 搜索支持全文搜索，不仅仅是标题搜索
• OffiSync 不支持实时协作，但可邀请对方只读或编辑该文档（前提是已保存至 Google Docs）
• OffiSync 支持直接复制或打开已保存 Google Docs 文档的 URL
• OffiSync 支持多 Google Docs 帐号管理

微软 Office Live 插件

是的，微软也有类似 OffiSync 实现的软件 + 服务的产品: Office Live 插件。Office Live 插件支持整合 Microsoft Office 和 Office Live Workspace，而 Office Live Workspace 正是微软的 Office 在线存储与共享服务，并将整合 Office Web Applications（即微软 Web 版 Office 应用）。

Microsoft Office 2010 也将原生支持 Office Web Applications，最近泄漏的 Office 2010 中的 PowerPoint Live 在线服务也暗示了这点。另外，微软有推出了 Microsoft SharedView 以实现屏幕共享、实时协作，以及远程控制等功能。

1. Windows Live Admin Center 和 Office Live 的重叠

Windows Live Admin Center 也就是之前的 Windows Live Custom Domains，改名之后服务也从之前仅支持自定义域名的 Windows Live Hotmail 邮箱服务，扩展至叻其他 Windows Live 服务，包括：Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Hotmail, Live Search 等，还可通过自定义域名的 Windows Live ID 使用 Windows Live 的所有服务。同时也有三项推广计划，Live@Edu 校园计划，Live@Net IT 管理者计划，以及 Live@Gov 政府机构计划。

修正：同时，Office Live Small Business 也几乎包含了 Admin Center 提供的功能：自定义域名，Office Live Mail（基于 WL Hotmail），在线文档存储和共享（Office Live Workspace 提供，但独立于 SkyDrive），日历（基于 WL Calendar）等。

2. Office Live Small Business 也将采用 Outlook Live

Outlook Live 是由 Exchange Labs 改名而来的，和 Hotmail 一样同属于微软的在线邮箱服务，具体的功能可以参照这里。我一直都有这个疑问，为何微软要推出两款同样面向普通用户的在线服务？事实上，很多地方都是如此（印证上述第 1 条）。

我得知微软将向 Office Live Small Business 和手机用户推出 Outlook Live 后，实在是忍不住又问，Windows Live Hotmail 最大的竞争对手是来自微软的 Outlook Live？这是否还关系到 Hotmail 团队的“存亡”？

而根据上图来看，之前介绍的 SkyLine 仍有可能是 Outlook Live。

3. Office Web Applications（Web 版 Office 应用）

• 二月，Office Live Workspace 和 Office Live Small Business 都分别更新了，几个月后（？），这两款产品将会拥有相同的界面，即现在 Small Business 的风格，但我不确定这两者会不会合并（有可能性）。
• 并且，Office Live Workspace 也将整合 Office Web Applications（截图预览）。
• 07 年底 Live@Edu 计划中已经整合叻 Office Live Workspace，主推校园的协作。
• Microsoft 正在合并 Windows Live 和 Office Live。

根据上面 4 点，大家能想到什么呢？至少我想到的是合并。

而 Google Apps 在上个月底推出了服务状态控制面板（Google Apps Status Dashboard），除了告知用户 Google Apps 提供哪些服务，这些服务运行状态如何，可能还给用户一种暗示：Google 的服务之间整合很紧密，且都各服务是唯一的。

这也是 Microsoft 大量在线服务的弱点，举个最简单的例子：My Phone 服务，已经可以算一个除去社会化服务的迷你 Windows Live 平台叻，包括：联系人、日历、短信、照片，在线存储、同步、共享功能等。在 My Phone 论坛上也有大量的用户提问，何时 My Phone 才会和 Windows Live 整合。同学们也开眼界了吧，居然可以这么开发服务，实在是太相似了。不过官方最近还是做出回应了：将会与 Windows Live 服务整合更紧密。

另外感谢任平生的发现，My Phone 的在线存储空间可能将升级至 1GB = 1073741824 B（SpaceGranted 标签之间的数值）：

附上一则趣闻，前一阵子有英国网站称英国政治家 Jack Straw 因使用 Hotmail 处理政府事务而遭批评。

由于我个人原因，每天更新也不能像以前那么频繁了，我将更注重单篇文章的信息量和价值，简短的文章我就直接通过 Twitter（@Picturepan2）发布叻。这或许也是好事，毕竟一直快餐对身体也不好。老样子，有建议和意见在此篇末尾提出，先谢叻。

Office Live 是一组面向消费者和小型企业用户的服务，并提供了存储和分享功能（还将包括编辑功能，截图和 QnA），目前共有三款服务：Office Live Workspace, Office Live Small Business 和 Office Live Groove。根据微软 Office Live 副总裁 Rajesh Jha 的消息，此次合并也包括将 Office Live 的开发移至 Windows Live 组织。

在谈谈 Windows Live Essentials，以及 iLife 中我也提到微软和苹果在面向消费者的软件领域中的竞争，微软将于下月发布的 SkyBox, SkyLine 和 SkyMarket 可能也就是微软与苹果竞争的另一个焦点。不仅如此，iWork.com 和微软的 Office Live Workspace 已经开始了竞争。微软需要更加清晰和体验统一化的产品系列来应对苹果、Google 等公司的竞争。

另外一种则是通过 Microsoft SharedView，支持实时协作：远程控制桌面并实时编辑文档，并能保存至 Office Live Workspace。
