Ask.com 地图系统平台迁移至 Virtual Earth 平台

Ask.com 的地图系统平台已经迁移至微软的 Virtual Earth 平台。通过站点 http://maps.ask.com 访问即可看到相应的 Virtual Earth 平台(如果使用非支持的浏览器浏览或者未启用 JavaScript，则为 MapPoint Web Service)。

现在已经包括 YellowPages.com、Superpages.com 和 WhitePages.com 等很多站点都直接使用了微软的 Virtual Earth 平台作为基础。微软专注于建立一个更完善的地图平台系统，而其他站点便可以在此基础上展开，开发新的应用，以提供更好的服务。不知道什么时候能看到个提供中文支持的地图服务系统也使用 Virtual Earth 平台 😀
