Windows Mobile 7 推迟发布

昨天提到 Windows Live 将取代 Windows7 自带的 Mail, Photo Gallery 和 Movie Maker，今天，CNET 的 Ina Fried 又给我们带来了关于 Windows Mobile 7 将推迟至明年下半年发布的消息。

当然，同时在今天 T-Mobile 发布了Google Android G-phone，也有预测称 iPhone 今年第四季度将达到 400-500 万部的销售量，从而截止至年底突破1000万部的总销售量。Windows Mobile 在今天发布这个消息，无疑是雪上加霜 🙁 。

据 Ina 得到的可靠消息，微软的集团产品经理 Scott Rockfield 在与 Steve Ballmer 及其他 17 家移动设备制造商和移动运营商的会议后称，与会的所有人都被我们正在努力做的事情感到非常的激动，无论从短期上来讲还是长期发展。根据 Inda 的报道， Windows Mobile 7 的推迟发布，并不代表着短期内 Windows Mobile 没有任何的更新：

Microsoft is not expected to have a major update to its core operating system ahead of Windows Mobile 7. However, other improvements are expected to debut sooner, most notably an improved browser that brings the rendering engine of Internet Explorer 6 onto Windows Mobile. That update, still expected this year, should pave the way for Windows Mobile phones to display rich Web pages, including those that are home to Flash content and Ajax applications.

In addition, a number of carriers and handset makers have been working with Microsoft to add new touch interfaces and other features, separate from Microsoft’s operating system updates. The T-Mobile Shadow was one of the first devices to benefit from such work, while more recent products from HTC also have their own custom interfaces above and beyond those included in the most recent version of Windows Mobile.

在 Windows Mobile 7 发布之前，微软不会对当前版本的 Windows Mobile 操作系统内核给出较大的更新了。但是其他方面的改进和更新很快将发布，其中最值得我们注意的是，改进的浏览器会将 Internet Explorer 6 的渲染引擎引入 Windows Mobile。今年之内将发布的这一更新，无疑将很大程度地增强了 Windows Mobile 用户的互联网网页浏览的用户体验，尤其是包含 Flash 和 Ajax 的页面。

另外，除了微软自身操作系统方面的更新以外，已经有一些移动运营商和手机制造商着手开始跟微软合作，增加一些触摸技术的用户界面以及其他一些功能。不过，正如在搜索或者在线服务或者浏览器的发展等领域类似，在移动设备这个利润颇丰的市场，微软无疑仍要努力地赶超其他竞争对手才能取得一定的成绩。所谓今年之内的更新，让我们拭目以待吧 😀 。
