Office Live 更名，并推出新服务: Office Live Workspace(续)

首先，Office Live 为什么不更新功能，而是要更名？根据那封我们收到的电子邮件：

Microsoft today laid out the next phase in its strategy for online services, offering a roadmap for new offerings from the company’s Business Division that synthesize client, server and services software.

These hybrid offerings will combine elements of client-based programs with software that runs large servers and new services delivered over the Web. Microsoft plans to deliver these services over the coming months under two key service offerings: Microsoft Live and Microsoft Online. These offerings will span from hosted services, by Microsoft or by a Microsoft partner, to on-premise offerings, delivering software the business customers want, however they want. 

微软已经确定了接下来的商业在线服务和新产品的发展计划，并计划在接下来的几个月中推出基于以下两个方面的关键服务：Microsoft Live 和 Microsoft Online。这些产品将架设于微软或者其合作伙伴的托管服务之上，提供客户想要的软件和服务。

Office Live 改名为 Office Live Small Business 通俗来讲是为了突出微软其他商业产品和产品的强大。微软有很多小型商业产品，如：Small Business Accounting。同时也有许多大型产品，如：

• Microsoft Dynamics CRM Live
• Microsoft Office SharePoint Online
• Microsoft Office Communications Online
• Microsoft Office Live Meeting
• Microsoft Exchange Hosted Services
• Microsoft  BizTalk Servieces

那么，什么是 Office Live Workspace? （它不久会在www.officelive.com 上接受 beta 申请，很可能是免费的服务，但附带一些广告。）

看起来，其中许多服务和 Windows Live 服务非常类似，如：Windows Live SkyDrive 和 Windows Live Events。我们仍没有足够的信息来对比产品，相信不久之后，一切都会变得更加清晰。 😛
