我们早已体验过诺基亚 NAVTEQ 的全球范围的丰富地图数据，今后将可以在所有 Windows Phone 8 手机中使用到诺基亚位置平台，这其中也包括已在 110 个国家推出的 Nokia Drive 导航。开发者和合作伙伴都可以利用诺基亚的位置平台进行应用的开发。
诺基亚自称比其他手机生产商拥有更多高质量的位置数据，提供真正的离线功能，快速的客户端地图渲染，并且相比传统服务器端地图平台，仅需 1/10 流量。并附上了其他一些数据：
- 超过 190 个国家、50 种语言、110 个国家的导航数据
- 在 26 个国家收集 Nokia Drive 用户和本地提供商的信息，来提供交通警报和动态导航功能
- 在 35 个国家超过 5,000 家商场、地铁站、机场、体育馆等室内地图
- 支持多种导航：驾车、步行（超过 400 个城市的人行道或捷径）和公共交通（超过 100 个城市）
（尽管微软和诺基亚都没有提到 Windows Phone 系统中的 Bing Maps 将如何，看起来是被 Nokia Maps 完全替代了。）
