传微软下周披露下一代 Windows 名称

下周，9 月 30 日微软将在旧金山召开 Windows 发布会，预计将宣布 Windows 9（代号 Windows Threshold）。尽管最近一个月内有大量功能的泄露和曝光，但下一代 Windows 的名称仍非常保密。Reuters 报道称，微软将在下周发布会上宣布新系统名称，可能是 Windows 9、Windows 或者其他。

微软目前内部将下一代 Windows 称为 Windows Threshold 或 Windows X，Windows X 很像是占位名。昨天微软操作系统部门老大 Terry Myerson 回复称，“我们仍在决定，感谢您的建议，下周见。”

Windows 和 Windows 9 是目前可能性比较大的两个名字，Windows X、Windows One 也在猜测之列，还有种可能性不大的消息是称微软可能放弃 Windows 品牌。而且，目前 Windows RT 和 Windows Phone 合并的名称也还没有定论，内部暂称为 Windows Mobile。（via The Verge）
