最值得期待 Windows 10 Redstone 4 预览版发布：Timeline 和 Sets 大量新功能

新版 Windows 10 Redstone 4 预览版已经发布，最新的是 Build 17063，这个版本可以算得上是 Redstone 4 预览版以来最值得体验的版本，大量承诺的功能都已经在这个版本中出现。

Timeline 是集成在任务视图的功能，可以方便你浏览之前用过的文件、应用和网站，从而可以跳转到之前使用的位置，也支持跨设备（系统设备中可以选择关闭）。

目前 Edge、Office、UWP 版的地图、新闻、体育和天气应用都已经支持，开发者也可以为自己的应用加入 Timeline 支持。Cortana 也会在适当的时候进行建议，建议恢复在其他设备上正在处理的文件和浏览的页面等。

Sets 是第二大重要的功能，可以给应用窗口增加标签式管理的功能，从而可以根据任务来排布窗口。这次不是所有用户都能用到 Sets 功能，微软正在进行 A/B 测试。

Microsoft Edge 黑色主题有更新，按钮支持 Fluent Design 中 Reveal 高亮效果，PDF 阅读界面的书签添加和管理都已经合并在一起，支持 Service Workers、Push、Cache API，安装了新的 Web 媒体扩展包，触控板手势增强。

Cortana 也有大量更新，新的 Organizer 界面也就是笔记本中的一部分，用来管理所有和你有关的信息和提醒，Collections 功能也已经和 Lists 合并，目前已经开始推送。

系统 Shell 界面都开始使用 Fluent Design，包括任务栏、共享面板、时钟和日历面板、网络面板、音量面板和输入面板，以及其他应用或功能中的面板都将进一步统一。

Windows 10 新预览版也在细节方面有大量优化：

  • 保存通知的未发送草稿，当你在通知中回复一条消息，未发送的内容会默认保留下载，存在通知中心。
  • Windows 10 开始菜单跳转更好地处理中文、日文和韩文的首字母问题。

  • 改进的系统更新体验，不再直接弹出重启或稍后重启的警告，而是在系统任务栏显示 Windows Update 图标，点击后可以进行后续操作。
  • My People 改进，支持拖拽调整顺序，支持任务栏显示更多人数，非固定在任务栏的其他人发送消息的动画。
  • 内置截图功能增加 Paint 3D 打开的选项。
  • Windows 设置改进：Fluent Design 界面更新、本地账号密码恢复、显示（分辨率、刷新率等）相关的详细信息（设置 > 系统 > 显示）、新的键盘设置页、区域和语言设置大更新、设置 LTE 蜂窝数据连接选项、改进的数据使用量管理、改进单个应用设置页。
  • 输入改进：可以修改手写面板的字体，支持更多语言的 Emoji 面板，可以多选或单选 Emoji、更多 Emoji 匹配文字数据、键盘输入建议面板更新、屏幕触控键盘支持左右分裂布局、东亚语言的标准触控键盘布局。

  • DPI 缩放改进：可以设置“修复应用缩放”来修复插拔外接屏幕、RDP、改分辨率之后带来的应用界面模糊问题。你也可以针对不同的应用单独设置 DPI（应用右键 >属性 > 兼容性 > 修改高 DPI 设置 ）。
  • Windows Defender 应用守护功能将来到 Windows 10 Pro，就像企业版那样。
  • Windows Subsystem for Linux（Linux 子系统）大量改进：可以运行后台任务，Elevated 和非 Elevated 可同时运行、可远程连接运行、也有将 Linux 路径转为 Windows 路径的工具。
  • 新的开发者工具：bsdtar（tar）和 curl、AF_UNIX。
  • 隐私：可选择哪些桌面软件可以使用摄像头。
  • 微软也开始放弃 HomeGroup 功能。

这个版本 Windows 10 引入了大量新功能，也意味着很可能会相对不稳定，所以 Insider 安装前需要自己权衡。
